The iStoragE3 inverter is a unit that, together with the iStoragE B5-S2 battery set, creates a modern, safe, and highly efficient iStoragE3 Residential Energy Storage System.

The iStoragE3 power bank is a complete energy storage system that includes one three-phase hybrid inverter and 1 to 8 lithium-ion batteries. It was designed for households and storing electricity produced by PV installations or taken from the electric system. The iStorageE system can work in on-grid and off-grid modes and provides the possibility of complete control over power export. It also has direct impact on effectively increasing self-consumption.

Together with PV modules, the device automatically stores excess solar power during the day for later use. An additional advantage is an ability to set the charging and discharging time, when using the electric system, for consumers using time tariffs, so that they can initially charge the batteries when the energy price is low, and save energy when the price from the electric system is high.


The Kehua iStoragE3 provides remote management and monitoring of energy consumption and export, thanks to the WiseSolar Plus app using a dedicated energy meter. It can operate as a power supply supporting device, providing uninterrupted protection during a malfunction of the electric system or work in an off-grid system with an energy generator, e.g. in the form of a PV installation or an electric power generator, to ensure power independence.

Note: This inverter has been used into our laboratory in direct collaboration with Kehua for testing purpose. For three-phase systems, ensure to integrate compatible Kehua battery modules for optimal performance and system compatibility.
